Hey Heather, I just looked up how many calories need to be expended above what you eat to lose a pound a week and that is 3500 calories per week. If you want to lose an average of 2 lb per week, then you would have to double that number when you are keeping track of calories, eating about 1000 calories less per day than what you use in activity. If you are keeping to your daily calorie allowance on here, then it is not as hard as it sounds to use up those calories. Even light exercise can help you do it as long as you stay active through out a good portion of your day. Right now I am trying to motivate myself to get outside and do my 3 mile walk. It's crummy out, dark overcast and cold, and I am such a fairweather exerciser! Lol. My dance exercise video is looking like a much better option at the moment. Good luck with your goals! We can do this!
