The differences are quite significant between frozen precut, baked and roasted. All the same mass/grams. Does anyone know why? I don’t want to make the mistake of roasting when it’s clearly better to bake it. What’s the real difference in preparation?

I was craving slap chips actually 🙈 so boiling isn’t really an option. I was just looking for the least destructive way to satisfy the craving. Confused mostly by the caloric difference between roasted potato and baked potato.

Thulie you’re quite right, it’s definitely the salt and fat I’m craving. I’m on Herbalife and just trying to restrict calories in general. I try to stay away from carbs, red meat, dairy and sugar. I’m still trying to find out what works for me.

the McCain chips are processed so obviously higher in calories. I'm not sure why the roasted potatoes so high though..
