I am so disappointed because I thought I would lose a lot more than 2 lbs. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

What have you been eating (are you on Keto)? And, what type of exercise... aerobic, anaerobic?

I am on the keto diet. I am embarrassed to say I get no exercise

Maybe you can do like me... little steps... park further away while out, stroll for longer periods of time (don't want to build more muscle, just tone what ya' got), get your ratio of fat/protein/carbs to look something like 65%/30%/5%, redo your RDI (FS puts it a little "high" if you ask me).

Lpwells, don't worry about exercise yet! Unless you just need the fresh air and endorphins. Don't do it for weight unless you're in a good groove with food. 184 has great tips, other than that some of us *do* want to build muscle. ;-)

You are doing incredibly well. Losing an average of 1.5-2 pounds per week is fantastic. Don't be disappointed or discouraged. I'm down from 234 to 152 and keeping it off, but it took a LONG time, and in retrospect, I'm glad because it's meant that healthy eating is a permanent part of my routine, and I am keeping the weight off. Regarding exercise -- I agree with From371to184 -- Start by parking far away from the store, or, if possible walk to the store from your home. Walking is great low-impact exercise, and you don't need a gym or any special equipment.

Slow and steady wins the race. It's no more true anywhere than it is with weight loss.
