GKS1970's Journal, 28 Feb 12

Today the scale is kicking me in the teeth! The past two days I have eaten less and worked out harder and this morning I have gained? I know this is one of the drawbacks of weighing everyday--natural fluctuations, blah, blah, blah. . . still, I am irritated by this. However, I know I am doing well and doing right by me, so no worries. Tomorrow might bring a significant drop, who knows? Maybe my scale needs new batteries. Whatever, moving on and ready for another day of getting it right!

Understand the frustration, but I wonder if you're gaining a bit of muscle from the extra workouts? If that's the case keep up the good work, it'll pay off. I expect a spike in my weight when I finally join a gym, because I've been so inactive for the past year (and only just started a bit of cardio). I don't know exactly how long it takes for the fat to burn after you rebuild some muscle, but I know it happens. Hang in there.
