something has got to be wrong. a gain of 7 lbs in one week?

Well if you overate for a couple of days, than some of it will be water. In that case, just get back on plan and keep going. If you have been on plan and gained 7 pounds, I would check the scale. If it's that time of the month, you can also gain. Check your food diary for too much sodium yesterday.
