FitLibrarian's Journal, 03 Jun 16

It is frustrating to not being able to exercise at the tempo and intensity you need to because of injury. I've been suffering from a pinched nerve (cervical radiculopathy)and have constant pain in my right arm. It's improving slightly after a few sessions with the physio. For now I need to restart my eating plan and keep up with my running programme ( I'm training to run my first 5K race) must still find a race though. Any suggestions?

Runner's World has a pretty decent race calendar: http://www.runnersworld.co.za/events/ There's also ParkRun, which is a free 5K that happens every Saturday morning, although it's more of a time trial than a race, but still a good challenge.
