the whole30 ended two days ago, and I lost 9 pounds since I started. pretty good although with that kind of discipline I probably would have done better with Atkins for weight loss. the plus side is that I did feel so much better by the end of it this time than I had the time before. I reintroduced gluten in the form of beer and bread and my energy levels have slumped, I've had digestive issues, headaches and sudden sharp pains in my abdomen. I feel like I need coffee again -- I haven't had one in two months. bread is convenient but I doesn't seem to be serving me well. I'm going to cut it out again for a little while u til I reset. I'll then reintroduce beans and other grains to see how that goes. perhaps I can handle a small quantity at a time, but I certainly didn't eat small quantities after reintroduction. oh to experiment on one's body...
