I'm 62 years old and my weight loss journey started over a month ago and my starting weight I was weighing in at 236lbs I'm now 218lbs.
5 years ago I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure along with an enlarged heart as a result of being diagnosed with (CHF) I was now diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and all this was due to lack of oxygenated blood flow running throughout my body I've now been living with (CKD) for the 3 1/2 years.
way before I was diagnosed with (CHF) and (CKD) I used to compete in marathons triathlons cycling events and working out at the gym.
4 things that have been a contributing factor in my life have been my strength training my new cardio workout consisting of doing 20 minutes 18" box squats jumps a clean diet along with getting adequate sleep throughout the night all this has been a huge asset in upgrading my life and all this has been extremely crucial in improving my cardiovascular health gains!
Just recently I've been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
Given the fact that I've been diagnosed with 3 different debilitating diseases my body has to work 3 times as hard as a healthy body.
I'm also a 22 year blood cancer survivor! I was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma also known as Hodgkin's Disease.
I've always been a firm believer nothing good ever comes from staying in your comfort zone finding a purpose higher than yourself propels you to greater achievements. the body achieves what the mind believes.
