I've been exercising, but I got a little carried away with food Thur/Fri. I binged on pop, and boy did I feel it. It took all day yesterday of drinking water to get rid of the headache. NEVER doing that again!
I'm not happy with my gym right now, so I cancelled, but I am looking into another gym for next month. I'm excited about this one. For the same price this gym offers cardio classes, and even daycare! I found some at home exercises to do for now, plus I'm going to keep up with walking my dogs.
Next weekend is my daughters birthday. I'll have some healthy food to snack on..the weekend after that is my nephews bday, but his mom always has a veggie tray and water along with the other food. I'm feeling good though. Even though I had a a bad couple days, I feel more incontrol than I have in a long time.
At the gym I attempted jogging! I did 3 mins twice. My knees were feeling it :( But this is something I have to do. I need the challenge. I really would love to be in a 5K. Also I'm planning a road trip with the kids in June. My family is in Arizona. I'm going to make a couple stops in Colorado and also the Grand Canyon. I plan on a lot of hiking (well, as much as I can with the kids). I know I NEED to be in better shape for that. Plus what a suprise for my family to see me thinner. That alone would be great! I hope you all have a peaceful Sunday.

Best of luck!
Your goal is very much like mine, I'm on a different challenge though, I did not think I could do it but omg, I'm feeling great! I've tried it all... the only difference is that I always had to be wondering what, when or how to eat to lose weight. With this challange my mind is clear, I'm not obsessing about food, I'm just resting, watching the weight fall off and when I finish, I will then work on working out, it's not easy when you feel sluggish, I totally get it, keep it up & don't give up!

You really shouldn't be jogging until you lose more weight, no offence off course but you don't want to mess up your knees and ankles for the rest of your life, don't get mad at me now LOL

No my gosh I'm not mad. I had a friend tell me the same. it makes sense all that extra weight. I love walking and can go a good distance, so I'll stick with that for now.

If your new gym has a pool, swimming is another great way to get exercise without stress on the joints.

I wish though! That would be great.

Or the website I use for free home workouts, Fitness Blender, has a lot of low impact workouts if you search for levels 1 and 2. That gives you a little more variety than just walking, especially when it's yucky weather out.

Aww, the Grand Canyon is worth it! Plan the hike carefully and bring lots of water.
