I hit my initial goal weight! 149 days after I started my diet :-)
I can't say it was easy and I've been doing a ton of exercise lately. I keep track of my monthly exercise on another site for work and it said I've done over 6000 minutes of exercise over the past 2 months. I like when people ask how I did it and I have to respond with diet & exercise...like I did some magic thing to lose it. I guess people just don't want to hear the truth.
Anyway I'm not done yet. I still have some fat around my mid section and lots of toning to do.
The lower card diet has also been going well. I definitely feel much more energized than when I was eating mostly carbs. Today will be the real test as I have my golf league this afternoon after work. The past few weeks I've felt really weak and unable to concentrate...we'll see if the protein helps.

Thanks!!! @Lenakh...I do P90X every day which is at least an hour and then usually walk/jog 4-12 miles depending on the day. It's amazing how I've gone from being a couch potato to wanting to walk instead of watch TV.

yeah, it's amazing how moving more actually gives extra energy to move even more :) Just keep going! Slowing down also has an opposite effect - the slower you get the more you want to slow down even more. I want to try P90X one day, but stick to outdoors (biking, walking, hiking) and simple home exercise for now. I live in a small apartments with neighbors downstairs and a pull-up bar on the bedroom door with no TV view from it.
