After just one day!!?

Look up glycogen. It is a sugar stored in your liver and muscles. When you go from a calorie surplus to a deficit, you burn some stored glycogen. Each gram of glycogen is bound to about 3 grams of water. So when you burn glycogen, your body excretes the water. If you ate less salt yesterday, then you will also retain less water. These big drops are motivating, and it is a sign that you are in a deficit, but after a few days, the loss will slow down, even if you keep up the same diet/exercise. Good luck!
