I just can't go as low as 1000 a day. Yesterday it crept up to 1400.
120.0 kg Lost so far: 11.1 kg.    Still to go: 40.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

1000 is too low. puts you into starvation mode and body will conserve rather than expend. Up exercise if you can.

I agree 1000 is way too low. You'll end up gaining or stalling doing this.

absolutely - if you eat the right foods you can eat more and still lose.

You should never go BELOW 1,000 per day as your body will start to catabolize or "eat itself". I have found that 1200 - 1400 is a good range and you WILL LOSE WEIGHT at that level. I was at that level for 2 years - lost 68 pounds and THEN started exercising - LOL! I am now down a total of 72 pounds and at my goal weight. I am exercising 4 - 5 days a week, so it's 1700 per day for me. 1200 - 1400 will work.

You should get a least 1250 in a day. But you did get a fantastic loss LOL
