Well....I had been putting off the routine blood work that most adults are recommended to have done after 40. Finally, this past weekend, just 2 weeks after turning 43, I decided to go. *Cue Doom music* Dun Dun Duuunnn.....I am prediabetic and my LDL levels were a bit high.
Of course I freaked out and almost had a panic attack the next day. I bought a glucose monitor and am making even more changes to my lifestyle to hopefully improve my health. The scale is still going in the right direction. I exercise almost an hour a day and my diet is almost B+ or A level. Send positive vibes guys 😊

Keep up the good work. I had the same issue back in February. Thought I was a death sentence unless I got my act together. Been watching my calorie intake & staying active. So far I’ve lost 48lbs. You got this.

It’s great you’re making the changes now. My husband didn’t take action when he was pre-D and now is a Diabetic. Could have been prevented 😣 You’re gonna turn it around!

TomB0327 So glad you got it under control! Thank you so much for the encouragement. I am a pessimist, so I need all the positive words I can get. I'm also working on being more optimistic 😉
