I’m 20wks pregnant with my 8th child and I am fighting so hard to eat right.
Usually I gain 40lbs in pregnancy and I emotionally eat. But last go around I got gestational diabetes and had a big reality check.
I’m super proud that I lost two pounds after 12 days of getting serious about eating the diabetic way. Eating low carb is not easy for me - it feels like it takes a lot of mental energy to figure out what I can eat. I know over time it will get easier. I’ve found making lists of approved foods helps a lot. 📝
Over all I’ve only gained 3.2lbs and I’m halfway through my pregnancy! 🙌🏼 I think I’m finally doing it right.
