I sure wish this is the weight I wanted to stay at because I have never in my life been able to stay 3 weeks at the exact same weight.

Seriously.

I will admit that the more I just stay here at this weight, the less I want to follow this diet. It is way to restrictive to actually lose and while it does teach you some good things, it is not real life doable (no drinks for 90 days).

So, heading on vacation for a week and a half and will come back and go to the detox for 9 days to see if I can bust through this plateau and start losing again.

Damn you Dr. Ian Smith!

88.2 kg Lost so far: 2.9 kg.    Still to go: 4.3 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

Have a good vacation and hang in there....you are doing great! When you get back dive right back in!

I know it can be discouraging. I get the same way. Sometimes it just takes our body a while to finally show the results. Try to stick with it. Are you recording everything you're doing and eating? Then you can go back later to see what you could do different. Hang in there and have a great vacation!

I think the diet is very doable after Phase 1 and let's face it...hardly anyone is going to follow a diet 100%. If you want to have a drink, have it. Just continue doing everything else along with it. I have had several drinks since I started 3 weeks ago and have still lost weight (10 lbs). Everybody tweeks the diet to fit their life, you should do the same...Good luck!

You are too funny! I have also been fluctuating in the same five pound window for months which really makes me winder if this is were my body is comfortable. On an episode of CFC, Dr. Smith said that if you can exercise and follow the diet 80% of the time, you will be successful. That is do-able, isn't it?
