I need help! The weight just keeps going up! It wont stop. I have done so bad this past week, and just can't get myself back to dieting. I don't like the idea of counting calories because i don't want to be counting all my life...I want something that it a lifestyle change, something that i can deal with for the rest of my life...Something that will make my stomach shrink to make this easier. If anyone has any advise, please let me know. I am stuck and don't know which way to turn.

If you can adjust to eating 6 times a day, cooking most of your food (no prepackaged or fast food), limiting sodium, salt, fat, sugar, flour, dairy, and possibly red meat, then the eating plan I am on would work for you. You don't count calories, you just eat the foods and portions suggested in your meal planner, based on your body type. If you stick to the plan, the weight melts off because it is designed to boost your metabolism. It's called Michael Thurmon's Six Week Body Makeover, you can find it at provida.com. Also, I think Weight Watchers goes by points instead of calories. Best wishes.

Eat more often, like above mentioned, and try to eat filling foods, like foods high in protein.

are you working out at all? Make sure you do strength training first. That burns off the carbs and then do cardio which will burn the fat. For some reason in that order works best. I'm about the same weight as you.. (you're actually less than me) if you need anything let me know. Together we can reach our goal =)

Whether you're on a specific diet or not, continue to eat as healthy as you can. Calories is only a small part of the equation. Getting the proper nutrition through natural foods (fruits/veggies/legumes/grains/nuts & seeds) instead of processed foods, some form of daily exercise, stress relief activities, and proper rest all are equally important in having a lifestyle of good health. So don't get caught up with the calorie craze. Strive to be as healthy as you can everyday. You'll be surprise how energetic you'll be and also see some weight loss as well. Hang in there.

the worst thing you can do is get into a "diet" mentality. in my case i had to retrain myself how to eat...when to eat...what to eat. and looking back at my history,i never had any success unless i used the diaries here on fs. i don't know what it is about them, but they do wonders,i tell ya! 8-) you also might not be eating enough. if you're exercising regularly you need a minimum of 1200 cal's a day.the more you exercise, the more you need to eat. just make sure you are getting good calories and not empty ones.(aka cokes and sweets) eat all the fruit and veggies you want, and i have found cottage cheese with a tomato to be a wonderful filler.oh,and almonds have been known to kill an appetite, too. www.healthstatus.com can tell you a rough estimate of just how many cal's you should be consuming in day. at least i think that's the website!8-/ if not,i'll get back to ya.good luck!
