I don't post much but thought I'd share this thought. I track calories religiously. the last 2 days according to my calculations I was over my allowed amount and my weight is down, which leads me to believe more in the theory of calorie deficit than anything else I read. Thoughts anyone?

Something else that really helped is I got a Fitbit and started doing these routines Reps to the Rhythm. Doesn't sound like much but the routines make you work many muscle groups and they can fit into your day from 10min to 1hr. Great music too.

I've noticed that for me if I eat over I don't see it on the scale for a day or two so if I then eat a little under for a day to "make up for it", an uptick doesn't happen at all. More about averages than day to day.

There are a lot of other factors such as are you weighing yourself at the same time each day, and how hydrated you are. I lost 6 pounds in a day after a heavy night drinking with my friends. That's just water weight that came back over the next 48hrs.
