Rough week.
Basically, 4 out of the 7 days we had bad nights. One was our anniversary, one was drinks out after work, the next was dinner at a friends house (pre-diet plans) and the last was a boozy brunch with Mom for Mother's Day.
All in all, I gained 2 pounds in 7 days of the 4 I fought so hard to take off in the 9 day detox. CRAP!
That being said, I did weigh myself almost every day to track and see how these days would effect the diet. It looks like that I was losing about .44 pounds a day and after a bad night, that would not only negate that .44 put would put back a half pound.
It seems a little harsh though, basically 4 dinners out of a full week of working out 34-40 minutes, 7 days a week, eating Phase 2 all week except for those 4 dinners and STILL gaining weight.
I expected to not lose any for the week, but to gain? Jeez.
Another thing that is clear, and not explained by Dr. Ian, is that the detox is a lot of water weight loss and as soon as you put back some of the sodium you will gain some back.
We are back though, not discouraged, but ready to SMASH MORE FAT!
