Well I think I shall shake things up a bit. Eating 'fast food' resturaunt food and processed food (in limited quantities) and keeping calorie intake in check just has not generated the desired results. Even with 10,000 steps a day, some Peletron cycling and hiking. Might be I'm just not 'young' anymore. But I don't buy into that. Today's BP 103/53 hr 53 So the insides seem to be holding up great. Just the outside is a bit. plumper than I want. For 60 days I will commit to a program called Optivia. Kaiser calls it Optifast, and others knew it as Medifast. As my schedule is busy, the gyms were closed I needed something that can drop 'fat' weight relatively fast, but have medically/scientifically approved vitamin,mineral and sufficient protein to keep me healthy. Last time I used this, 32 pounds gone in 60 days. I can do 60 days. I held that weight off for 24 months, until covid/lockdowns/and junk delivery came back.
Bad habits are going to eventually kill more Americans that Covid ever would.

Are you going to do total meal replacement or 2 out of 3? I haven't thought about Medifast for years and years.

I do the 5/1 1 whole food protein and veggie meal and then 5 replacements, lots of water and just pass on the 'fast food/restaurant food' choices, It actually runs the same money. and it is easy, I only eat what I set up for the week.
How did weight gain happen? Gym shut down started it, bordeom escalated it, and then stress compounded it. 2020 was a very tough year.

I did medifast. (Well- I've done everything) and it did drop weight pretty quickly. I lost 50 in 4 months but I know that was my muscle, too.
