I just wanna quit. This is too hard. I'm just destined to be fat.
129.5 kg Lost so far: 3.4 kg.    Still to go: 54.7 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

Yes, losing weight is hard. But being fat is hard too. You have to pick your hard. It's about doing something good for yourself. It's about your health. Focus on losing 5 or 10 pounds at a time. Don't put a time limit on yourself. You are doing well and losing weight. Take it one day at a time. Get in plenty of lean protein, dairy, fruits and veggies. High protein, high fiber will keep your fuller longer. Take some exercise classes, learn a sport, get an exercise dvd for you to do at home. Get some fitness magazine and read them to motivate you. You have to believe you can do it. Good luck!

Hi, I thought I would check and see how you are doing. I haven't been to supportive because I haven't been doing well myself. It's hard to stick with something when you get great results then boom it goes up or stays the same. Some times after a big loss like you had last week or so; your body rebounds and hangs on to water or tries to stablize it's self. Watch your scale but also watch how your clothes fit/rings fit/feet feel. If you notice that some of these things are tighter but the scale hasn't moved...good chance your body is trying to catch up. Be patient and good things will come slowly. I have a hard time with rewarding a downward scale movement with FOOD! Instead of staying with what works, I reward or better yet deserve the goodies. Try to stay working on it...a buddy recommended looking at choices as effective or ineffective not GOOD/BAD it puts a different light on it. You have lost some weight and you can continue to have success...believe in yourself! I believe you can do it! If I try to keep organized and make sure to give myself effective choices next to the ineffective choices, usually I can calmly choose the better. Keep trying for yourself. You deserve to be healthy. Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm stressed out and eating too much and seeing my weight go up is making me eat even more. It's driving me nuts!! lol I keep telling myself that it's Thanksgiving and PMS but I can't let myself just give up. I'm doing this to be healthy for myself, my husband, and, especially, my kids! I'm going to try and take your friends' advice with the effective and ineffective choices. Our support of one another is going to push us to do the right thing and get healthy. :)
