Finally broke that 200 barrier. Whew! That was a major goal for me and I've felt my body was first of all adjusting to the loss of such an amount, almost 40 lbs. Now that I've technically reached 40 lbs of weight lost, I guess my next task is to maintain the good progress and remember, that in spite of stalling, the body has a wisdom, and if you work with her she will eventually reward you. The laws of nature are not so terrible after all.

Also, just for noting, my real goal is to remove everything that is getting in the way of me being and seeing my true self. That is not just how I look or my physical body, but also those things in my mind and heart that stop me from truly living as God intended. Stress can hold a person's body back, and I've studied that too. If you are undergoing some major or less major stress, your body can be insulin resistant too. So for me, that was getting out of a relationship that was going nowhere, honoring the relationships of true friends and family, and letting go of grief, anger and selfishness. Holding onto fat seems to be a direct result of holding onto things we maybe don't need. It takes alot of energy to walk around when overweight, I found that out. when I started I could hardly get up off the couch. Now I see my pretty legs, without the blubber. Now I can look down and see my whole self, getting well. That feels so nice. So like fat, things in our lives that are not loving or good need to be let go! That's what I am learning. I know it will be hard still.

ALRIGHT!!!!! Welcome to "onederland"!!!! You are doing awesome! And I completely uderstand what you mean about the stuff getting in the way of living as God intended us to. That is the biggest motivating factor in my journey this time around, and I truly think that it is also a bit factor in my outlook. This time, somehow, I know I will succeed!! And I am also making great strides in the areas other than weight!!

Congratulations! Feels great, doesn't it? I think part of the reason it takes awhile for the weight to come off is because we're supposed to learn some of the things you've written about. Great job!

Congratulations on making it to onederland. It sounds like you are realizing the things that are and aren't necessary in life to he happy and healthy. Sometimes just letting go of unnecessary stress and resentments can release so much that has prevented us from loving ourselves enough to be where we want to be. I love how you are seeing this not only as a vein attempt at beauty but as a soul cleansing.
