Frustrated...is it worth it when I stay within my calories and walk only to gain almost 2 pounds in a day?? If I slipped up I would understand but I've been spot on...I know it's a process but it's hard to stick with on a day like today

Happens to me all the time. You are right. It's very, very frustrating. I am convinced that I am doing the right things, but, no weight leaves...and sometime I show a gain, even when I did everything by the book.
I'm trying to convince myself that there are other benefits that compensate, but, even those can feel empty some days.
So, let's just chin-up and follow the plan...it will make us healthier, if we give it time.
Let's just write down what we've eaten so far today and then go for a short walk. It might not help the scale number, but we'll both feel better and have a more positive outlook. We are in this together.
