I'm kinda worried at how quickly I'm losing. It is much faster than last time, am I getting too few Vegetables still?
What's really sad is that my husband doesn't seem to be losing. Even though it's only been one week, and I wouldn't have expected to lose anything in that time, it seems to be bothering him quite a bit. Maybe because he's never been on a diet before...
What is REALLY annoying is even though I now weigh less than I did when I went into surgery earlier this month, my clothes STILL don't fit from the swelling! It feels like the swelling will never go away, and even though I'm slightly lighter, I feel bigger than ever.

give it time! That was some major surgery! I am sure the swelling will go down soon and b4 u know it your clothes will be hanging off of you. As far as losing weight too quickly remember that the first lbs you lose are usually water weight, so unless it continues at a severely rapid rate, I would enjoy it and not worry about it. Try to remind your husband that pple just lose at different rates, is he going over his carbs, not drinking his water? Could be reasons y he isn't losing yet...

Your husband may need to watch carbs more carefully than you. You won't always lose at such a fast pace. Also the swelling will go down faster if you're not eating high-carb foods because those foods make inflammation worse. Try taking some cod liver oil and borage oil for inflammation. These oils also help with weight loss (not that you need any help). You're doing great! It will slow down a bit, try adding in some veggies, though. :)
