Silverweb's Journal, 19 May 10

I seem to be stalling, but I really think it is just my body adjusting. I started my diet in March and have lost 22 lbs, not showing here since I was using another sight to track it. But anyhow, I think 22 lbs since March is good, and I'm really following my diet perfectly, and exercising everyday. I only took one day off since i began. I even bought a new bicycle to ride all over the place, 8 miles a day now but hoping to do better if the rain stops. I do wish I could drop some by next week. Staying at 216 for a couple of weeks is getting me down. But at least I'm not gaining! I've got to lose though, since my calories never go above 1500 and my carbs never over 20. Plus the exercise which I keep increasing. So, I just need to be patient I guess.
98.0 kg Lost so far: 10.0 kg.    Still to go: 36.7 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

Silverweb, with all of the physical activity that you are doing you might want to increase your calories. I know its probably not something you want to do if you are currently losing but if you eat too few you will put your body into starvation mode which will in turn prevent you from losing. Don't worry though, it can be corrected.

Thank you very much! I probably don't get enough calories. Its scary to add more though! lol

I know it's scray to try increasing calories when we all know that to lose weight you need to lower these. However, if your calories are too low you will not lose. This is especially important following Atkins.
