Wow today was weigh in day at weight watchers. This week I exercised everyday. I did a tae bo DVD for three days in a row, and went to the gym on Thursday and Friday to walk/jog for 2.25 miles on the treadmill! I think that's why I lost a big chunk of weight. I generally lead a sedentary lifestyle. Hitting the books, eating, watching tv, sitting inside to keep warm from this freezing cold weather in PA! I also realllllyyyy tried not to eat after 7-8 pm each night (thats so hard for me!). My goal for this week is to track everything I eat and to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day.
Its so hard for me to drag myself to the weight watchers meetings. But once I am there I feel really good about making the decision to go. It feels great to be with a room full of people who are trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Its one of those things where I am always happy I went - whether I lost, maintained, or gained! Two weeks ago, my mom made me go the WW meeting even though I knew I did NOTHING that week to lose. And I was right....I had gained a pound. And I just kept thinking, wow if I keep gaining a pound every week (which is so easy to do), I will never be able to turn my life around. Thanks to my mom, I went to the WW meeting, saw the damage, and in less than a week's time I saw results. I can't do this in my own strength. With the help from God, daily devotionals, mom time, and help from a roomate I know I can make healthier decisions for my life. <3

Wow, this site is absolutely amazing! Thanks to my mom (she referred me here!), I have all kinds of nutritional information right at my fingertips! and it calculates WW points??? I'm actually really excited. I think this is what I need to jumpstart my weight loss/New Year's Resolution.
I am a college senior - a nursing major - and my goal is to lose 10% of my body weight by May graduation.
I am still new to this site, but if you have any suggestions or things I should check out on here, please let me know.
