I've just passed the 20 pound mark and can finally see/appreciate how my body has transformed over the last 6 months.
I'm finally in a place where I feel comfortable naked.
I can feel my ribs and hip bones without sucking in. I don't actually need to suck in anymore.
I've gone from a size 10 jean to a size 6, which are actually baggy after a couple of wears.
I'm a size XS in women's tops and dresses, and a M in juniors sizes.
I'd like to lose another 3 to 5 pounds so I can comfortably fit into size 4 jeans, I just don't want to lose my butt so I'm working hard on working out to lose the last bit of weight and tone at the same time.
I've hit a milestone though and am pretty pleased (and surprised to be honest) with how I've stuck to this.

Losing 0.4 kg a Week

It's been almost a week since I last weighed in. I lost a little bit, which is surprising because I've barely exercised. I ran at the Y one day, and did some leg exercises at home another day, but that's basically it.
I've been eating okay but not great, probably taking in too much salt. I woke up with a flat stomach today which is nice. I just don't feel good. It's mostly mental/emotional/things that are out of my control. The only thing I feel I can control lately is my food/exercise.
Now that the holidays have passed, I'm going to focus more on my mental/emotional well-being. I'm reading a book that a friend lent me, and this phrase has stuck with me: "You are a victim of the rules you live by." Something to think about as I move into the new year.

Last night I spent Christmas Eve with a friend's family. It was a small, lovely gathering, and was really nice to feel part of a family for the first time in a long time.
I stuffed myself with food and wine, but it the meal was gluten-free so I didn't have to feel too guilty about it. My friend and I are going for a run today to help burn off the extra calories. It's in the 40s today and most of the snow has melted so the weather is good for an outdoor jog.
I'm having dinner with my beau's parents tonight (meeting his mother for the first time, yikes), and I'm not sure what we're eating so I'm going have to make smart choices throughout the day in case it's going to be unhealthy.
