The struggle with my food addiction is most definitely the hardest one to break. I have quit smoking,caffeine,tv and none of them come close to the difficulty I am having. I think its due to being a emotional eater and my whole entire life looking to food for comfort,gratitude,sympathy whatever the feeling was it seems I turn to food. But I have been making progress it is slow but year to date I have lost 53 pounds even if that is not as much as I would like. Its better than where I was and a life style changes are not always easy. While my hope is to lose weight my ultimate goal is to change my behavior and not find peace in a jelly filled doughnut that will eventually cause me more harm than it will ever bring me comfort.
