7pm Edit: 23 hr mark fasting w/lots of water and the exception of coffee with heavy cream, butter and liquid stevia drops. Time for dinner before my Cinderella clock runs out (8pm)!

Blood Sugar this morning was 100, before eating dinner, now 84. I will never understand how I can have an out of range b/s on low carb dieting.

Earlier Post Today: Errrrrrr.... Just when I thought I had the LCHF wired, and drinking the amount of water I should, my weight is up 4lbs from yesterday. I know... WATER. This yo-yo is really got me going though.

Today, I am going to fast as long as I can, 12 was my 16 hr mark. I have been drinking water like crazy, along w/my cup of delicious coffee.

Off to the city with my Ogre (husband). I also call him the 'Dish Fairy', because if I don't get to the dishes, they are miraculously done in the morning when I get up! I just love him! :)

YAY! Drinking more water yesterday finally broke my stall. Down 1.8 lbs. Back to 276. 12/29/17, I began lower carbs. I began LCHF 1/30/18. I have lost a total of 16 lbs.

Yesterday, I began taking my probiotics again, pill form (Dr Tobias) and am no longer constipated. That with increasing my water intake did the trick.
Thank you to everyone who cared and supported me during my rough patch. I appreciate it soooo very much!

Last night my physician responded to my 2/21/18 message: diet issues; stall, fatty liver inflammation. This is what she said to my total weight loss of 14 lbs at the time:

RE: Diet Issue LCHF
Wow! You are working hard!!! Great job.

Fatty liver is not stalling you. You are fixing it by doing this!

Constipation:
Eat a high fiber diet (20-25 g a day) - get psyllium tablets! and adequate hydration (6-8 glasses of water a day).
- Miralax (1 tablespoon/capful of powder mixed with water 2x a day). Follow this with 2 glasses of water.
- Citrucel 2 tablets daily.
- Use Dulcolax suppositories and Mg citrate as needed for rescue therapy.

I am impressed!

Okay, so today I am up .2 from yesterday. I was reminded by some of you to check my water intake. Oh yeah...I wasn't drinking enough, only 84 oz's a day, sometimes less. As of today, I am making a conscious effort to drink water every hour so that I am doing LCHF correctly. I have also started taking my probiotics, as the first step in helping my GI trouble.

I fasted for 20 hrs today. Trying to get things moving in the right direction again.

Other than that, it was a day filled with cold then warmer temps as thunder clouds pretending it was going to rain but never did. I thought that I heard thunder (and my white boxer doggie Abigail did too).

My Ogre is home, so time to finish dinner. Hope everyone is having a good day.

EDIT Tonight: I made Fat Head Pizza Crust and added pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni and it was awesome! My husband ate a slice and said it was really good. He wants me to make it again. He recently passed me up in weight loss and told me that he lost 4 more lbs. Guys have all the luck!

Well... Yesterday, I increased my calories, about 500 w/fat mostly and up once again by almost 1 lb (.8). Maybe to much avocado? I'm not sure if I should try increased calories for a couple more days or not??? I am trying to follow Jason Fung's on Diet Doctor, per my physician.

I have a couple of other issues that I need to resolve:
I have been constipated off and on since starting LCHF. Too much fiber does not do well with me. I guess I will try the tea 'Smooth Move'?

I have had a fatty liver (from being obese, NOT alcohol)and for some years get pain from time to time. Since I have been LCHF, I have the pain more often than not. Any words of wisdom??? I have heard to use apple cider vinegar 3x day, milk thistle, and on Dr. Berg's podcasts, he recommends eating 5-7 cups of above ground low carb veggies and not to include them in your 20 carbs each day. I am totally stumped.

YAY! I think I am finally back in ketosis. (Last week I accidentally had 19 hidden carbs in unsweetened black iced tea from Starbucks.)Never again...

I got my new body comp scale w/bluetooth up and running and syncing w/the Weight Gurus app. My poor old clip on Fitbit isn't working. It has been forever since I have used it. Maybe just a battery change. I can either use Fitbit, Google Fit, or other devices.

On the subject of weight, I am happy and bummed out at the same time. Happy that I have lost 15 lbs since 12/29/17, that I have been doing LCHF and sticking with it since 1/30/18, that I am beginning to lose weight again after a yo-yo stall, that I have dropped a pant size, that I am sleeping better, that I have begun walking even though I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Now for the bummed out part, my body comp scale says that I have 60% fat. I hope I see this percent go down as I lose weight. And the final both happy and bummer, MY HUSBAND PASSED ME UP IN WEIGHT LOSS, EATING MY WAY OF LIFE! He is a handsome 6'2" ft man w/a chubby belly and skinny legs I wish I had. BTW I call him my Ogre!!! :)
