Took off the month of December. Now, I'm back on track for 2015! Here's my plan:
Don’t eat:
Sugar and artificial sugar (no diet coke!)
Processed meats
Transfats
Flour or gluten products
Processed, packaged foods
Limit alcohol to 3 or 4 drinks per week
DO eat:
Veggies
Coconut, Olive and Grapeseed oil
Fresh fruit
Organic meats
Beans
Potatoes
Full fat dairy
Activities:
Swim
Yoga
Bike
Hike
Scuba
Read
I just recently had braces put on my teeth, so eating is difficult and uncomfortable. That will help me lose weight, too :-(

The scale read 145 this morning. Woo whatever hoo. It is so damn hard to lose weight these days. But what can I do? TRY HARDER. I'm meeting a friend for lunch at HuHot (I'll stick with veggies and protein, skip the oil sauces) and my husband and I are joining friends at a nice restaurant for dinner (thinking salmon and salad). Must persevere!

Stepped on the scale to see 146 pounds. I'm disappointed and a little frustrated. I haven't followed the low-carb way to the letter, but in general, I've consumed fewer calories than I've burned the past 4 days. I was hoping to see at least a pound lost :-(
I'll focus on ditching the carbs as much as possible and keep exercising. But jeez- it's so much harder to lose weight after 45!
