I spent the last 5 days with my son and his family in San Diego, while he endured his 4th round of chemotherapy.
He’s doing well considering the challenge he has in front of him. After this 4th chemo session, he will hopefully have a bone marrow transplant. Fingers crossed!
I personally gained only 1lb while there. I’m getting better at listening to my body and what is the most important thing for me is the psychological growth of not NEEDING those trigger foods that subconsciously have always controlled me.
Still learning about myself, even at the ripe old age of 59 years old.
