Physical therapy is going well. I am allowed 10 minutes on a bike now and I may soon be allowed to walk 1/4 mile. I still haven't seen more weight loss, but I was put on diabetes med (even though I'm BARELY pre-diabetic) that is playing havoc with my stomach. They say I won't lose no matter what I do because of my inability to metabolize sugars. They say I am insulin resistant. Just got up to the full dose this past week, so we'll see how that goes. Will get checked this week also to see if my thyroid numbers are finally where they belong. Menopause, no thyroid, pre diabetes, extensive arthritis, and 3 orthopedic surgeries in a year. It's GOT to get better.

Getting tired of being so restricted on my diet and not seeing fast loss like in the past. True, I'm now menopausal, but still... I SHOULD be losing more for what I'm eating. But I'm not able to be active enough yet, so I really can't complain. I just hope I find a job soon to get myself out of the house!

post knee surgery. physical therapy to start later this week. less pain walking gives me hope. not taking diet pills. insurance didn't cover them. doing it the old fashioned way. and cutting back alcohol.

Surgery Tuesday on my knee... I won't be able to get up and get myself any food or alcohol. Sounds like a good diet plan! LOL Just kidding. I'm really looking forward to being able to eventually start being active again! Considering how little I actually eat, that will be a huge boost to my weight loss.

Just made a super nummie salad dressing from pesto sauce. Pesto, a little white wine vinegar and some mayo. SO yummy and a super nice change. I can see it on cooked veggies too. I love simple salads to start with but creative dressings make them a treat!
