Well the apple thing worked, really hoping not to have to do that again. Although I did alternate between apples and oranges it still made it for a long day. The hubby really pushed me to eat a regular dinner, so like they say, pick your battles and this wasn't one that was worth it, so I had fresh vegies and 2 fish stick things (as you can tell I'm not the cook lol).
Oh yeah, I also met my mini goal for January 5 lbs gone! Total of 35lbs of fat GONE!

Well I do believe it's official - I've hit that plateau that we all hit sooner or later. Today I'm doing the apple thing (throwing in a few oranges) and see if that helps kick it in the butt. If not, I have another thing I'm going to try and see if that will work. It's my own Plan B lol. Figured since I'm low carb, I'd try doing 2 days of high (healthy carbs) and then a nothing but protein day and see if that won't kick it into gear.
I know I'm still losing inches, but not seeing the scale move for this long worries me. I have another pair of pants on today that have been in my skinny box for a long time and they fit better this week than they did last week when I had tried them on. Believe me, I'm not complaining at all, I just want to start seeing the scale move again even if it's just 1 lb.

I have good news that I wanted to share.
1. My son and his fiance have finally set "the date" - June 6, 2015
2. That gives me a 2 1/2 yrs to lose/maintain my weight and look nice for their wedding.
3. I am NOW wearing a pair of my dress jeans that I have not been able to wear in at least 4 yrs!! Just last week I had tried them on to see and they just weren't fitting right just yet to wear them. Well this week knowing I've been losing inches, I thought..what the heck and BOOM!! they fit very nicely!! It is amazing how your body can change in 7 days!! So right now I am super excited, since I have always had it in my head that it would be SO nice to be able to get back into them by February of this yr and it's only January!! Yes, I am doing a jig right now!!
4. This has totally boosted me up and it really has me at wanting to get to that 35lb mark by this weekend!!

Well, nothing new in my world today. It does look promising that by this weekend I will reach my 5 lb mini goal for January. I don't count ounces when I record my weight on here so I know it looks like I've been "stuck" at the same weight for awhile, but in reality, I've dropped a few oz's. I have a doctor's appointment next week and I will be curious as to what she says. I didn't tell her about my diet and the last time I was in was over the summer. I don't even know what I weighed (according to her) because I wouldn't face the scale, I stood backwards on it so I didn't see the #'s. I still don't want to know what their records will say, since I know it'll be heavier than my scale due to my clothing and the time of day.

Well, life has finally slowed down (thank God!!) and I will be able to check in more often now. Weight is staying the same this week, but my measurements are telling me that I'm losing inches right. So I'm happy w/that.
I also know that the past week I've not been as committed as I was and was laxing a few days. One night I had some french vanilla ice cream w/fresh raspberries and then last night hubby brought home Pizza Hut pizza and I had two bread sticks! Sorry, wasn't passing them or the ice cream up!! lol Totally enjoyed both and no regrets!
Today, I'm back at it full swing and now that my fridge is stocked again with fresh fruits and veggies it'll be easier. I just know that for a week now, I've been having some major carb cravings and hoping that it'll pass soon.
