Leaving for South Padre Island tomorrow morning. I'm so excited and ready to get the heck outta dodge!! I just want to go vegitate on the beach. Ah, to be lazy for a few days...sounds wonderful. Unfortunately, they don't have a 24 hr fitness down there so if I get any exercise, it'll have to be jogging on the beach or something like that. I did my pilates class last night and will be doing my bootcamp class tonight.
Other than that, same ol' same ol'.

Good morning everyone! I had a pretty busy weekend b/c we had the fights on Friday night and then of course yesterday was Father's Day. I also worked out pretty hard yesterday...my hubby and I did chest and triceps. I can already tell I'll be hurting tomorrow...you know how it always takes about a day to get the wonderful soreness. I was pretty proud of myself and how much stronger I've gotten. I was able to lift/push more weight than I ever have. What a great feeling.
I'm amping up for this week...I leave for vacation on Thursday! Hallelujah!!! I'm so ready to get away and just relax. I plan on working out either on the beach or find a 24 hr fitness that's close! I finally dropped after last week's plateau. It seems like it's taking forever to get to the 130's...I haven't seen those numbers since high school...what a great treat for me once I get there. Anyway, hope everyone else had a nice weekend with their dads!!! Keep smashing away!!

Hey hey! I'm still here plugging away. I took a rest day yesterday. I just needed to chill for a day. I haven't gotten much sleep this week and it caught up with me last night. I'm going to my boot camp at 24 hr fitness...can't wait. Even though I needed my rest day, I couldn't help but feel guilty for not going. My hubby thought I was crazy for saying that. I don't know why, but I felt like such a lazy person for not going. Crazy, I know!! I have yoga and kickboxing tomorrow...my faves!!! 3 guys from our gym are fighting Friday night and I can't wait to see what's going to happen. My hubby is fighting in August. He's down to 269!!!
I'm still eating great and have added supplements to help get me more cut. I've changed my foods just slightly in order to help me from plateauing. I'm adding more fruit and some unsalted peanuts for my snack. I missed my fruit for the last 3 months so it was welcomed back with open arms!! LOL
Hope everyone else is still doing well...I'm ready for S. Padre next week!!

I pretty much stayed the same this week. I went to my trainer and we changed the eating up a bit and added some supplements. I'm hoping this will get me off the plateau. I'm still working out hard and adding a lot more weight training...which could be why I'm not "losing". Yesterday marked the "end" of the 3 months, but my hubby and I have not intentions on stopping!! We're both so stoked about getting to our goals!! I'm looking to get cut!!!
I just got an email about my tracks being finished with mixing/mastering so I'm going to listen to them when I get home tonight...I'm so excited!! I'll let y'all know how they come out and also let you know when you all can hear them!!

I kicked butt last night. I went to boxing and did weights and circuit training. I was so sweaty and tired by the end of the workout. We worked out for about 2 hours. My hubby did a different circuit than I did...I'm so proud of him. He is looking so good and his endurance has shot through the roof. I feel a little sore about my lats and throughout my back, and I love it!! Sounds crazy right!! I'm going to yoga and kickboxing tonight so that'll be another good 2 hour workout. I want to go hiking or something this weekend..I just want to be outside doing something active. Only a week and a half till my vacation...I'm so ready. I know I just went out of town, but it wasn't a vacation per se...I'm ready to just vegitate on the beach!! Oh yeah!
Diet is still going strong. Technically, Sunday marks the end of our 3-month journey but we're not stopping. We're going to keep going till we get to our goals. My hubby is at 269 down from 307. He's only 4 lbs. from his fight weight, but he wants to keep going. He's thinking around 250 and then build more muscle to get back to a lean 265. He's going to look good!!! Whoo!!! I'm gettin' that lovin' feelin'!! LOL
