I totally ate chicken nuggets last night. I walked for another 15 minutes and did like 5 minutes of yoga so far throughout the day.

Another 15-minute walk today, indoor on the treadmill. My back right hip/tailbone/butt cheek feels weird when I walk. I made another Chiropractor appointment for today after work. My friend is giving me a 90 Minute hot stone massage tomorrow after work. I probably need to stop sleeping on the couch.
I woke up feeling skinny from the salad I ate yesterday for lunch. I am going to have another salad tonight for supper and pray I can stay the funk away from the chicken nuggets. I also need to stay the funk away from the scale because it is a buzz killer.

I did it - I went for another 15-minute walk again today. I also went to the chiropractor to fix my bodies way of rejecting my extra weight and the toll it's having on my bones and whatever other stuff inside that is screaming at me to do something different.
I told my chiropractor I will never forget the day I came in and he asked me what was going on and I sat there unloading all of my stresses in life (it was a pretty big list back then) After I finished venting he said, "I meant with your back."
I also told him I felt like he was judging me - that I come in with something minor and he is thinking: "oh gawd - I have real patients that come in here with real problems like they can barely walk and other major things and you ma'am are wasting my time whining about a little headache." He assured me that wasn't the case at all and he commended me for being proactive.
Oddly enough he even said when he was a kid he had unexplained headaches. His mother took him to all the doctors where he had a multitude of tests done like cat scans, MRIs, and other medical tests that are abbreviated with letters of the alphabet. They couldn't find anything wrong with him. Then his mom suggested he try a chiropractor. It was the only thing that helped. He said from that moment on, in 6th grade, he knew he was going to grow up to be a chiropractor... and now this guy owns the place too.

I'm in a diabetes prevention program that's reteaching me the tools I need to be successful in weight management for a healthier life style. They really want me to lose like 8lbs by the end of class and so far I am gaining. However, I did just go for my first 15 minute walk of 2022 and came home and did 15 minutes of yoga. I miss regular yoga classes.

I have officially gained the most weight to the point I HAVE to do something about it. Yesterday and today my lower back hurt so bad I can't stand to stand because it hurts so bad. I will shuffle my weight from side to side and it doesn't help. Last night I ate 4 giant snickers cookies dipped in almond milk at like 3 in the morning and I passed out from probably a carb coma. Feb 1st it is. It's also the Chinese New Year today. My stomach aches, my neck and back hurt, I want to go to sleep. I asked my husband not to bring chocolate candy or cookies into the house anymore because I am not strong enough to resist them yet. Just like in AA - One day at a time.
