WOOOOHOOOO!!!! I am so proud of myself. if you have followed my journals you know how that I've been lying in bed for 75% of each day due to my my foot surgery. But I somehow managed to lose more than 4 lbs!! I am officially at my half way point because I know cast weighs at least 2 pounds. it feels really awesome to know I have gotten this far. But that does not mean I'm close to being done. I am on my way. SO PUMPED!

So onto my smaller cast! They weighed my original cast and it weighed 9.7 lbs!! How nuts is that?! The one I currently have on weighs 2.5 lbs, just to give you a perspective on how different certain casts can be.
I know, I know... I haven't posted my weight for the past 2 weeks. I have an excuse though; since I can't put any weight on the foot that just went through surgery, it's almost impossible to weigh my self. But I can assure you that I have been sticking to my diet for the most part.
The only crappy thing is that I'm not working 45 hour work weeks anymore. I just go to the store to order all of the products on the shelf and then I'm out of there. Which is usually only for a couple hours and then I'm out of there. If I had to guess, I'm probably at my 70 lb weight loss point. I feel like that's not TOO bad for lying in bed most of every day.
Some of you are worried with all of the opiate pain killers that they are prescribing me, that I may become addicted to them, but I can assure you that I am taking the bare minimum that the doctor recommends. The pain is getting worse as I take less and less of the medication, but I do have a CA medical marijuana recommendation so that I can cope with the pain in a more natural manner. So far it seems to have helped immensely.
I don't know what I would do without FatSecret. This website helps motivate me so much! And the fact that random people can encourage and support each other is amazing to me. Thank you to everyone who has either supported me or left a comment on any of my long and annoying journal entries, you honestly don't know how much it means to me.
I am going to post a picture of my new cast. It's really cool since I got to choose the style and colors!! You will notice that most of my toes are purplish-brown. That is not from my feet being super dirty, it is from the surgery. Apparently since blood rushes to your feet when you stand up, it is common after the surgery that I had that your toes bruise afterwards. It doesn't actually hurt, it just looks like it does. Just in case anyone does instagram on here my username is dayeden. To everyone who is struggling with their diets and can still walk: DON'T GIVE UP!! JUST BE THANKFUL YOU CAN STILL WALK OR RUN AND USE THAT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE!! GO FOR A QUICK JOG. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
Sincerely,
Aiden

Day 4 and I'm doing pretty good. Went out of the house for the first time since Sunday. The bad news is that yesterday at 8 pm I got a call from a co-worker that my older brother got into a bad car accident. Fortunately he is ok for the most part. He has a couple cuts and is soar, but the main thing I am worried about is that he can't remember the past couple of days. Right now he is at the hospital getting some brain tests done. Hope everything turns out ok. He can't even remember where he was going or why he was in his car after the accident. Can't wait to get my giant cast off on monday to get into a normal size cast. I will post a pic of my current cast. Instagram: dayeden

I have a cast on the size of a baby elephant. but all is well. im keeping up with the meds so the pain isnt too bad. its been 3 full days since my surgery and I'm ready to leave the house and start scooting around. if you guys want a better idea of what my cast looks like, I have an instagram. my username is dayeden. im going to take each day one at a time. thanks for the fs support guys!!
