Had a rough couple of weeks. Kids and hubby have been sick and I haven't felt that great myself.But I am back to the gym and back on track. Feeling much better.
I am happywith my diet in general but I amthinking about trying the 5:2 diet. You eat normal for 5 days and then you 'fast' for 2 days. Fasting = 500 cals for women and 600 for men. I may give this a try next week. Don't know if it will work or if I'll like it but I figure if I don't like it,I can always stop and go back to what I have been doing. If I do it, then my fast days will be on Monday and Wednesday. I will keep the rest of my week the same as it has been. So, we'll see how it goes...
I am doing a challenge to lose 10 pounds by December 31, 2012. I am feeling very motivated!

Got to the gym today. I did my cardio and I worked my butt off (hopefully literally!). It feels so good to workout hard. I love it. Not always while I'm at it but definitely when I'm done, LOL! Today I also did my upper body strength training, Abs and stretching. I am getting better at the Ab machine. It's the kind where you climb up onto it and then hang. Then you pull your knees up while you support your body weight. It's not easy by any means. But today I did 15 pullups in a row. A few weeks back I could barely pump out 5 of them! And a few weeks before that I couldn't even hold myself up on the thing! Today, I did 35 in all. I can definitely feel myself getting stronger. :)

Got to the gym this morning, finally. It's been closed because of the hurricane. I wouldn't say I had a great workout but it was okay. It was so crowded there. I usually get there at 6:30 a.m the latest, but it was closer to 11:30 and pretty packed. Oh well. I'm just happy I got there. I did some strength training on my lower body. That was good. I might not be able to walk tomorrow though, LOL. I also worked my Abs. I miss my cardio workout but I'll hit it hard tomorrow.
