Despite my husband having FMS (I fall it Full Moon Syndrome) and being a complete Ass Hat yesterday I didn’t cave. I definitely missed my Mama extra much because she’s the one I’d call and vent to. Then her words of wisdom and calm would settle me. However, two days in a row of coming home pissy from work and then taking it out on me (even before getting home) I had it with him. So I told him it doesn’t reflect as caring when you start chastising and yelling at someone like they are a child. They didn’t go over well. I was pissed because he fucking ruined what had been a good day off of work for me and the rest of the day and afternoon. Of course, today he’s still behaving like a spoiled brat. This is another first holiday without my Mama and honestly I don’t have the patience for his childishness. Praying for patience for myself today. Celebrating my drop and my closer approach to Onederland. Be kind to yourselves and those around you.

And now we’re moving again. I didn’t run yesterday but got some cycling in and weights. Felt good. Had a “too late” night and a late dinner making today a long day. I need to find my work motivation. Thanks everyone for the positive vibes. I’m hopeful today will see continued improvement on the front of the “crud” I’m fighting.

Well it is almost a full week since I returned from Georgia and yesterday was the best I have felt. I haven't done any cardio as this cough is pretty intense, and honestly no exercising. However, I am hoping to get to the gym this afternoon for some weights and maybe a bike ride. I celebrated that 0.4# loss but have been drinking down the Trop50 and sugar-free cough drops and soups with sodium so not even wanting to get on the scale. I know a couple pounds is due to all of the meds and being under the weather but still I can be 'butt hurt' over it for a little bit. Seriously, I am itching to at least get back to the weights so that is a good indicator.
The trip to Georgia was good. It was hard going back 'home' that first time and my precious Mama not being there. My sweet Stepdad still has her coffee mug sitting next to his; just like they always did when they weren't drinking coffee. Yes, it was a good visit but very hard. I got to see my Daddy and my siblings and of course work. I still do not miss that Atlanta traffic commute; it is terrible and only gets worse.
I am really hoping that the sun is going to come out and decide to stay. I am ready for warmer weather. I am ready to spend time on our deck and enjoy the hardscape that my husband worked so hard on last year. I am ready to BBQ!!!! All things Summer is pretty much what I am ready for!!!
Remember to be kind to yourselves!!! Time to get myself back in gear and kick the rest of this cough to the curb.

When you traveled out of town for a week but you still lost weight! 💕 I was just going for not gaining! It’s not a lot but definitely a WIN! I need to get a real journal entry in but due to traveling back home yesterday I am behind on work.
Needless to say an office worker infected me with their germs and I’m sick. Seriously, I was exposed to the flu but because proper precautions were made I didn’t get sick. People you cannot work and cover your mouth if your constantly coughing. Don’t spread those germs. I’m pissed because I’m home feeling like crap and can’t work out. Rant over gotta get to work.
