Trip to Paris and Berlin - got vertigo and a bad back from all the walking and flying, but I powered through because I was so happy to be there. Travel does change your eating habits for sure, and of course I ate all the lovely food and drank all the wine. Put on a few kilos but I don’t regret a thing- in fact, it was wonderful to eat food that was so much about the total experience of pleasure, rather than just being on a scale of how much nutrition I can get from the calories available. Been back home for a couple of weeks with covid from the airplane, and my physical strength is shot - my knees are weaker than they’ve been in years- but I’m so grateful for the experience. I’ll have to put in some serious time stretching and building back muscle tone as well as cutting back on the sugar again. Oh well. it was totally worth it. 😊

Wow I thought I would have put on weight. I had been eating more fast food for a while and it made me feel like crap, and I was avoiding the scales cause I felt bloated and heavy. I guess I was being a little bit harsh on myself 😅
