I have another week of 18 & 22-hour workdays. It's okay. I'll survive. I have survived thus far.
My weight has kind of stalled. I know why. I haven't been portion controlling as tightly. My exhaustion level has dictated a lot of carbs (whole and unprocessed) and sugar (fruit) and the hormonal changes from the lack of sleep make it appear that I'm not losing.
But I am.
The scale is a liar. I've dropped another size. I've dropped another 2 inches total.
I'm still losing even if those losses aren't translating to a visible number loss.
I hope everyone else is doing well.
Happy Monday. <3

I'm so sorry for the lack of activity here. COVID hit my businesses supply lines particularly hard and the last 2 weeks have been full of 18 or 22 hour days.
I hope you guys are doing well and staying the course.

Work has been a lot. Life has been a lot. COVID stress is finally catching up to me and the sneaky hate spiral took me down last week.
I do have a cracked rib. Getting X-Rays in the time of COVID was an experience.
I haven't kept up with comments here because I've just been in an absolutely terrible mood.
Things I didn't do:
Crash a "diet". I'm not dieting, I'm changing unhealthy patterns.
Stress eat - food isn't a reward. It's what my body needs to live. I can't fill that hole with cake. Even vegan cake.
I also, most importantly, just let myself experience the disappointment and sadness. I acknowledged the stress and my reasonable emotional responses to it and I'm working on letting it go.
I read an article last week that said most people don't maintain weight loss over 5 years. But if you do, you are probably going to keep it off.
I'm willing to take that bet.
