I've been really happy with the results lately. As of this morning, I'm officially 1.8 pounds away from my goal weight. I have decided to lose 2 more pounds for good measure, just so I have some wiggle room if it comes back. Wedding season, here I come!

Since the end seems near, hopefully within a couple of weeks, I've been thinking a lot about the consolidation phase of the Dukan diet, and what that entails. I've read that for every 1 lb lost, it's a good idea to stay on consolidation for 5 days. Since 15 pounds is the end goal, I plan to stay on for about 10 weeks. This means:
-2 slices wheat bread per day
-40g full-fat cheese per day
-2 starchy meals per day
-2 "celebration" meals per week
-1 portion low-sugar fruit per day
-1 Attack phase day per week

For the first half (in my case, 5 weeks), I'm told it's important to cut the bread, starchy meals, and celebration meals in half. I'm really not sure though. I guess it will involve some sort of trial and error process.
