Thanks for the 3 great comments. You are all right and i tried the hot tea yesterday... very helpful. Its really not worth it to let chips and chocolate make me end up feeling even worse than an already tough day feels! ALso i borrowed a trick from Biggest Loser...the sugarfree gum - also helps. Its true that if i can get over a hump for 2-3 days, i feel more in control about making good choices after that.

If there was ever such a thing as emotional eating, i could be the postergirl for it. I have been through a rough time in the last couple of months and have gained about 6 lbs. I have become very conscoius of the fact that food is my friend and i can def. depend on it. THe problem is, i know i can depend on watching the scale continue to rise if i don't get a handle on it. I have become so aware of the next time to eat, and even get nervous, knowing i will let food win again. I dont want to QUIT eating, just quit thinking about food as an escape and comfort that i am not feeling otherwise. Ugh, thought i was rid of this plague but it proves itself capable of resurfacing when loneliness and chaos resurfaces in my life! HELP!!

I'm back....weight has kind of stayed the same . I totally went back in to bad eating habbits for a couple of weeks. I'm lucky i guess to have not gained 5 lbs. I'm feeling a lot better after exercising this week and eating a little better. Anyway, the running and weights is sure to help bring off a few in the next few weeks if i keep it up. I just need motivation to eat healthy and low carb when taco bueno is enroute to most everywhere i go around lunchtime!
