Losing 1.5 kg a Week
12 January 2009
I actually felt hunger this weekend for the first time in a long time. I weighed in at WW on Friday and started to work the plan on Saturday. I just wanted to go to bed so I wouldnt think about eating, but both my kids were out and about and I needed to stay up until they came home. I ended up with some steamed vegtables around 9pm. The time was not great, but it did stay off the hunger pains. Back to weighing and measuring my food. I must have been eating a ton to gain this weight back again. I got my husband (mac man) to weigh and measure some, not all of his food too. It will be a big help if he is on the same plan as me. We went to the swap meet yesterday and walked the whole thing, then stopped at a fish market and got fresh fish for dinner. 2 days down and so far so good. I need more water, I noticed how thirsty I am. Maybe I was eating when I should have been drinking?

Hey there, I'm not very computer literate so I hope I can figure out the navigation thing.
I'm 48 y/o and fat with a F A T. I don't think I've ever been skinny... although when I look at my pictures from college I wonder why I thought I was fat then, becuase I was looking prettty good compared to now. I have lost 1,000's of pounds since childhood only to remain fat. I need help and motivation from others suffering from the same confliction of food motivated eating.
I am successful in every other area of my life except for maintaining a healthy weight. I have a wonderful husband, (truely, no BS with that statement), two well adjusted and astonishingly normal weight children (girl 16 and boy 13) and friends and family.
I live a busy life just like the rest of you. I own my own business and also do consulting and teaching. Everything is good, except my weight..... whats up with that.
Hmmm.... would love to make a few friends to keep me on track this year. I don't want to turn 50 in 2010 with my friends thighs and butt hanging around.
Nice to find a place to be me...
Janet
