I just realized I have been extremely weak, like never before, since I started atkins induction 1 week ago monday. i fall asleep at 9 oclock every night because i'm exhausted and tired.
i am diabetic type II.
I think i better start checking my levels, this might be hypoglycemia periods, because some of this time i do get the shaky nauseous feeling associated with that.
i phsycially feel very sick , similar to the flu, for the past week.
Tired, tired , tired. weak and nauseous.
blech. where's my mommy when i need her?

Did very bad yesterday.
went to the movies. thought i wouldn't have any popcorn.
but then i stuck my hand in the bucket, once.
twice,
repeat, etc.
in total ate about 5 cups.
ok.
still learning.
but seriously!! movie without popcorn??? that's tough!

10 15 2010.
RATS!
I started this on monday, Oct 11th with a starting weight of 193, based on an old fashioned dial type scale.
My sweet husband bought me a digital scale yesterday so I'd be more accruate. but on that darn thing, I weighed 195!!!!
so i figure i'd probably lost a pound in the 3 days I'd been doing this already, so i had to change my starting weight to 196.
ugh.

OKay, been in ATkins Induction since Monday the 11th. not bad. Little mixed up about the carbs, still taking in too many. have to keep reading to keep them under 20. I'm disappointed about the veggie restrictions. I love green beans and can't have them yet. broccoli and cauliflower are okay, spinach is okay. guess i will really learn to love those 3 now until i get my beloved green beans back.
so will keep plugging along.
i weighed on monday morning (NAKED -yuck) when I started ATkins, and I"m going to weight on Saturday. i think once a week is enough.
you know what prompted me to do this?
jealousy.
my friend told me she lost 50 lbs in 6-8 wks by walking 2-3 miles a day, 6 days a week.
I walk 2 miles a day during my 2 15 minute breaks at work and i haven't lost any weight.
She was always bigger than me.
honestly i can't tell she's lost any, but I think, if she is set on doing it, I should do it too. We can be happy healthy old ladies in 20 yrs instead of overweight middle ages friends right now.
