I didn't go to work yesterday. I just needed an extra day. I actually got a lot done. I cleaned my house, worked out, went to the grocery and bread store. My hubby was home all morning working on his project for school. Poor thing, he stayed up all night again last night trying to get it finished. I have my Thanksgiving luncheon for work tomorrow. It's weird...I don't really want to eat anything bad. I've been doing P90X and Turbo Jam almost every day. My jeans are getting loose on me, which I love!! I'm telling you, that chick Chalene on Turbo Jam has so much energy. She cracks me up most of the time. I just laugh as I'm working out. My mom's 60th birthday is tomorrow and we'll be celebrating this weekend. I can't wait. I couldn't make it a surprise party, b/c there was no way I could surprise her with where we were going, so I arranged to have her sister from B.R. and her best friends from B.R. be here when she arrives. She has no idea...I think it'll be a good surprise. My brother's 30th birthday is on Nov. 29th so we're going to celebrate his too. Two monumental birthdays...wow!! I wanted to make them special for the both of them.

It's Thursday!!!! It's my Friday b/c I'm off on Fridays. I did the Kenpo X again last night. I love that workout!! Tonight I'll either be doing another DVD or go to boxing with my hubby. I have to say, I can already feel a difference in my jeans. I love that feeling! I wish I had gotten my motivation back earlier b/c then I would probably be close to where I was before I started gaining again. I may weigh myself this weekend. Being that I haven't recorded in a while, it'll probably show that I've gained, but in actuality, I've lost. I sing at my brother's church this Sunday night. I wish I had more bookings, but I guess this will have to do for now. I need to pound the streets to get my name out there. I'm looking to sing at churches as well as functions. If anyone has a church that is open to allowing other people do specials or mini-concerts at their church, please let me know. Diet-wize, still doing great! I plan to keep it up...no cheating this weekend!! Have a great weekend everybody!

Last night my hubby actually did the Cardio X DVD from the P90X with me. He was sweating so much that he was dripping on the floor and anytime he did a punch or kick, he flung the sweat on me...ew!!!! I don't like other people's sweat on me...not even his. Anyway, he said he really liked the workout and wanted to incorporate it at the boxing gym. It really was a very good workout. It had a little yoga, kenpo, plyometrics, and core. I think I like that one the best so far. A little of everything. My hubby said he wanted to try to do the yoga one today...hmmm...I don't know. It's an hour and a half of just straight yoga, and it's not easy. I've done it and I couldn't even do the entire video. I had to stop quite a bit. It started hurting my wrists...I guess that carpal tunnel was kicking in. I told him to try it and see...so I'm curious if he's going to do it before I get home from work. I'm trying to decide which one to do tonight. We may be going to boxing, so I'd like to try and get 2 workouts in today...we'll see!!!! Diet is still going great...no cheating. I've been pretty proud of myself for being disciplined...Lord knows I need it. I'm surrounded by every kind of chocolate here at work. I think it's a conspiracy.

I have to say I'm shocked at the will power I have attained. I did Kenpo X last night. It always kicks my butt. I got a really good sweat on. It's been raining over here like crazy so it has forced everyone inside. It gets cool, then it warms up again. What I wouldn't give to be somewhere up north. I've lived in the south my whole life and I'm so tired of the warm weather in the winter months. Ok all you yanks out there...send me some snow!!!! LOL All I ask is for it to be in the 40's on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I just hate wearing shorts on those holidays...it just doesn't seem right!!
Anyways.....back to the diet. I have been eating well. I had a chicken wrap last night with some pretzels. Here's my meal schedule for today:

Breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1 small apple
Snack: handful of pretzels
Lunch: Turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread and 1 dill pickle
Snack: more pretzels
3rd meal: 6 oz. low fat strawberry yogurt and red grapes
4th meal: salad with low fat dressing

By the way...does anyone find it odd that I'm already listening to Christmas music????? I can't help myself!!

Diet is going very well...I didn't really cheat or anything this weekend. I was at Crossfest all day Saturday and didn't eat anything they had out there. I ate after, which was after 9:30pm...I was pretty hungry by then. My SIL and I went to Chili's after and I had a side Caesar salad...I did very well. Usually when I get really hungry, I'll just eat anything in sight...that's usually when I eat the bad stuff...it's weird, I haven't really been tempted by anything bad lately. I guess that's the true test that I really am back on track. One of the ladies I work with told a co-worker that she thought I was starving myself. The thing is, she doesn't come in to work till after I've already eaten my oatmeal and fruit...then, she always goes out for lunch and I eat in...so she doesn't see me eat lunch either. This woman constantly has something in her mouth...and it's junk food...candy, cookies, pizza, hamburgers...I don't think I've ever seen her eat anything healthy. Part of me just thinks maybe she's just jealous that I'm trying to be healthy and she's not...maybe it's guilt...who knows. Anyway, I'll be going to boxing tonight. Gotta get that workout in...have a great day everybody!
