so i am doing as i said i would. i began today, feeling a lot better about it, and planning meals away. i feel a lot better than when i ate those other meals and taking on a different approach to this weight watchers plan. i am not attending meetings, but i have their books and stuff, and now understand the whole flex point plan. i planned my week around the low end of the point range for my weight, so instead of having 33 points available for the day, i am retraining myself to think about only having 28 points. i figure that i will lose weight faster also bc i am taking in less points...calories...but that also gives me a 5 point cushion if i decide to add a fruit or something during the day...i can! anyways, hope u all are well and keeping on track without struggles! =0)

ok...i did it. last night we had in n out. i don't even think i really wanted it...it was more psychological. i thought it would make me feel better to just eat what i want and not stress over it..considering all the other things i was, and still am, stressing over. anyways, i decided that i am just going to cut my losses, or gains as it is more likely to be the case, and just get a brand new fresh start on sunday morning. weigh in like new, and begin like new. anyone that says that this is easy is full of crap. it is so hard to break bad habits when all u do is continue to tell urself about all the tomorrows that u have to start...so ya...sunday. full blown sunday. all out, no holds barred...SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!!

isn't it odd how stress can make u lose track....ya, that's me today. i just don't care what i eat...just for today. my husband and i decided that we would only eat out like once a month...so here it goes! one day off track won't blow it all out the window...but i just have too many other things i have to stress over...financially...and that drives me absolutely nuts...but like i said, just one day.... =0) PROMISE

this weigh in is not the most accurate. i just bought a scale and have just weighed myself, but my original weight was just a guess. i would love to think that i have lost 5 pounds since i began this journey...and i believe i may have...but, i do have to be honest and say that i am really not sure....but here we go!

ok guys! i am back in the swing of things (so far). i keep telling myself that i need to be healthy for my kids. i want to be around and healthy when i am blessed with grandchildren...and i want to be that sexy fit grandma...weird to say that...but yeah, i want to be vibrant and full of life, not just full...u kno? i think i just have to get my husband to stay on track. any pointers from anyone on how to get a grown man to stay off soda? hes not a beer drinker, hes a soda man. and it is being passed down to our kids. they dislike water most of the time, but i am happy, ecstatic to say that all the kids are really taking to the new eating and exercise lifestyle quite enthusiastically. they still get their snacks here and there, but i am happy to see that they are making better choices, and i am now packing their lunches for school. no more school food...and they get free lunch...but i would rather spend the money to have them eat better...
in fact, this morning, they had their choice to have a sandwich on a bolillo (mexican roll) or whole wheat bread, and guess what they chose! WHOLE WHEAT!!! i am proud of them. they took that, no cheese, slight mayo, mustard and lettuce with a slice of ham and a slice of turkey, and apple, sunny d, and pan dulce, the little ones that look like a plain cupcake. they are really taking to it well...yay kids!!!
