I had kind of a 'stumbling block' over the past several days. For some reason, I couldn't get connected to FatSecret reliably, and when I did get connected, it would lock up on me sporadically. I'm hoping it's settled down now.
I had to be 'creative' for the entries for my Dinner on Saturday. I attended my companies 'Winter Party', so didn't really have as accurate a measure of my food intake as I'd like. I tried to 'recreate' all the food items I ate, and I think I got fairly close. One thing I didn't add in were the sauces that were with many of the items I ate (other than the tomato sauce with the pasta). For this reason, I've listed that day as 'most of what I ate', rather than the usual 'all of what I ate'.
I'm beginning to find that the one thing that is having the most positive impact on my 'diet' is cutting out of all the 'boredom' eating that I had been doing. Now, if I feel the 'munchies' coming on, I grab a bowl of baby carrots, and that seems to do it. I do still indulge in favorites (peanut butter filled pretzels), but I limit the amount that I eat, and that seems to help.
So far, so good...

I'm really getting the hang of this 'meal logging'. One side-effect I've found .. I won't eat anything that I can't find 'Nutritional Information' on. When I make something from scratch at home (and I'm usually the one that does), I enter in all the ingredients and create a 'recipe', so I can record my caloric intake.
That's WAY more attention that I've ever paid to what I eat .. :-)
