I weighed myself this morning, and I only lost a half a pound this past week. I was kind of disappointed because I was so good at sticking to my diet (with the exception of eating some cashews last night - had to have some). I didn't lose much weight, but I'm still losing inches. I guess I'm in the plateau stage. Got to stay strong and hang in there. Hopefully, the pounds will soon fall off!!! Off to work out ladies! Today was a great day for walking! I did my Walk Away the Pounds - 3 Miles DVD, jumped on my mini trampouline for 5 minutes, and did some strength training for 7 minutes.
On Friday, a few of my associates at work tried very hard to persuade me to go out with them for lunch to a West Indian Restaurant (jerk chicken, stewed chicken, oxtails, peas and rice, etc. - foods I really enjoy eating), but I told them "NO"! Can't do it! When they returned with their food, my mouth started to water. Everything smelled delicious, so I took a good sniff in the air, and then I walked away! I'm so proud of myself! In the past, I would have gone with them in a heartbeat. No question about it!!! But today is a new day; I'm on a mission and plan to stay on track. STAY STRONG LADIES!!! :-)

Good Morning! I woke up very tired, but I got out of bed to exercise - Walk Away the Pounds - 2 Miles DVD. I'm hanging in there! I've been getting plenty of compliments about my noticeable weight loss. Everyone's been asking me what I'm doing. Do you know: a lady who works in Human Resources had the nerve to ask me if I had surgery to lose my weight? I was very insulted because we see each other every two weeks when we have to pick up paychecks, and whenever she has a question about my staff, she speaks to me! A lot of people where I work have gotten the gastric bypass, but to each it's own. It's not for me!!! I prefer to lose weight the normal, safe way! :-) Well, ladies, I have to get showered and ready for work. HAVE A GREAT DAY! :-)

Yesteday I worked from 7:30am - 3:30pm. Afterwards, I did 2 loads of laundry, and went to the Nail Salon to get my nails done. You know we all have to continue to look good during our weight loss process! :-) When I got home, I prepared dinner, watched a little TV and passed out! I didn't wake up until 8am! That's good for me because I always get up at 5am to work out. I got up, worked out (Walk Away the Pounds - 3 Mile DVD), bleached my hair, and now I'm going to take a shower and get ready to have lunch at 1pm. {Also, can't forget - I praised the Heavenly Father! :-)} It's a beautiful day!!! I tried on more clothes that I couldn't fit (clothes I bought a long time ago that I just had to have), and honey, they fit!!!!! I'm getting my sexy back! The scale on Monday showed 211.4, but I must be losing inches because I'm starting to get a little definition in my shape! I LOVE IT!!! Tomorrow I weigh myself to see how much more weight I've lost. We'll see. Either way I'm hanging in there because I'm seeing results. WHAT A RUSH!!!! I HAVE TO GIVE THANKS TO DOING WALK AWAY THE POUNDS EVERY MORNING!!! :-)
