Last week I tried something I haven’t done in awhile, I worked out but not everyday (2 days to be exact) and then really planned/watched what I was eating. Being a mom to 3 active kids in varying ages, and having a job that’s also active, AND helping out with my husbands small business the stress of working out everyday just was too much. This week I’m hoping I will be more energized and able to do 3 days of workouts, I will have to see how my energy and pain is after tomorrow’s new tattoo. Here is to another week.

To say life is stressful would be an understatement, last week was such a huge roller coaster of emotions I honestly don’t know how I made it through the week with my head still attached.
To start off a dear family friend of ours passed away, she was so much to her family, friends, and community. She attended our church, and I was the one that had to ready it because it’s my job as the janitor to make sure everything is tidy. It was a very difficult time to prepare, I almost broke down several times remembering the conversations we had throughout the fellowship area; her chair that was deemed that in the sanctuary that she had left her extra Bible at for Sunday services. She was such a good woman and will not be forgotten for a long time.
My youngest has had a cough for the past month due to sinuses/allergies but took a turn for the worse on Tuesday of last week; she was coughing hard and her chest was rattling and a high fever (103-104). We were concerned because a week prior to this change she was in close contact at Sunday school with her teacher who unknowingly had covid. So Wednesday last week I took her in for a test and she tested positive for both covid and RSV. The doctor said most of her symptoms are pointing to a bad case of RSV, the big reason he thought that was because the fever was way too high for what it normally is in young kids with covid. So needless to say our whole house got tested and the rest of us are negative; oh but the waiting game for our test results were hard on me.
The good feelings came when my bathroom was completed after 16 months of working on it and having a lot of help putting it together. Now my older kids that are healthy can stay away from the youngest bedroom which is right next to the bathroom she uses. And we were able to clean up a good chunk of the construction work from this project over the weekend and reorganize how the area of house is going to be to streamline things hopefully.
Such a long post but sometimes I need a place to journal such thoughts to get them off my chest otherwise I can become overwhelmed by them and in real life be a complete witch. Hopefully this week will be a little less eventful and my stress levels can go down.

Weight could have accumulated from so many different things, and I’m trying to not beat myself up over it. Especially since Saturday I went out shopping and was able to find 2 pairs of skinny jeans that have the all buttons fly 🙃 which have been my favorite type of jeans to wear since high school, so glad they’re back in style. Also found some really nice sweaters (a few are crop tops). Along with the clothes shopping hubby and I had a bunch of home improvement returns to do AND purchase the last finishing items for our bathroom remodel. Here’s to another crazy week of running around, and hoping to fit in my workouts all week long because I really do enjoy them as my me time.
