I am 30, married, work full time, am an Education major in college, and plan on teaching high school science after I graduate. I have tried just about every diet out there (Weight Wathcers, Atkins, South Beach) and have recently been discouraged by the diets that look like they work, but cost a truckload of money (LA Weightloss, Jenny Craig, etc.). So, as an aswer to my problems, I have decided to allow the scientist in me do a little research and design my own, inexpensive diet that is tailored to my own needs and will address not only my weight, but the reason(s) I got so heavy in the first place.
