I have been a stay-at-home mom for about 15 years and did not realize how out of shape I had been getting until my oldest daughters wedding 3 years ago. Trying to find and outfit for the occasion was not only depressing but a real eye opener. So about six months after that even I started to get serious. For several reasons it felt like my life was crumbling around me and this was something I could do something about. A year after that I had lost about 30lbs, but hit that dreaded plateau. So I have given myself a few months to hold at 143 to 145, and now I am ready to move on.
My next goal is to lose another 10 lbs and then maintain for at least two to three months at that level before I go on. So now I have to figure out the right mix of exercise, nutrition and of course schedule. I am hoping to add in going back to school in the fall so I will have to figure that in if I can get that ball rolling.
